Real Estate Associate

Cozen O'Connor is seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Associate with a minimum of three years of real estate law experience to join our growing Toronto office.

The Successful Candidate Will Work On a Wide Variety Of Commercial Real Estate Transactions And Matters, Including, But Not Limited To

• Commercial real estate purchase/sale transactions
• Real estate financing transactions
• Due diligence, title review, and transactional support
• Drafting and negotiating agreements and transaction documents
• Asset backed lending
• Loan restructuring
• Mortgage enforcement
• Joint venture and partnership arrangements
• Direct client contact and responsibility appropriate to experience level

• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law at a law firm
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• Strong client service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
