Senior Counsel Investment Fund Structuring

Join Innocap as a Senior Counsel to shape investment fund structures for institutional clients. This hybrid role emphasizes strong legal expertise and relationship management within alternative investments.

Reporting to the Global Head of Structuring, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing fund structures for dedicated managed account clients. Your responsibilities will involve drafting and negotiating a variety of fund documentation, such as investment management agreements and service provider contracts, while managing client relationships and collaborating with internal teams like risk and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structuring efforts with large, sophisticated investors

• Develop and maintain legal structures across jurisdictions

• Draft and negotiate comprehensive client agreements

• Prepare and review detailed offering materials

• Engage in client presentations and discussions

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent degree required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in investment funds law

• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating agreements

• Strong understanding of securities regulations

• Excellent relationship management and communication skills
