• Take carriage of family law files appropriate to your experience, from initial consultation through negotiation, litigation, and resolution.
• Represent clients at case conferences, settlement conferences, motions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop practical litigation strategies in collaboration with senior counsel.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, motion materials, briefs, settlement proposals, and domestic contracts.
• Manage complex financial disclosure, property division, child and spousal support, and parenting matters.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and pursue effective resolutions while remaining prepared for litigation.
• Work closely with law clerks and legal assistants to manage deadlines, court materials, and client communication.
• Maintain professional client relationships, accurate time records, and efficient file management.

• Licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Minimum 3 years of family law practice experience, including meaningful litigation experience.
• Experience independently managing family law matters and appearing in Ontario courts.
• Strong legal drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills.
