Become the senior legal leader for Lockton Canada's Canadian operations. This role requires expertise in legal compliance, regulation, and commercial contracting to guide business leaders effectively.
As the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance, you will partner with senior executives, providing strategic legal advice while managing compliance, privacy, and legal risks within the insurance brokerage sector. Your experience as a Canadian lawyer will enable you to navigate complex regulations and contractual negotiations, supporting Lockton's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide practical legal guidance to senior leadership
• Advise on regulatory issues in the insurance brokerage
• Identify and manage legal and compliance risks
• Translate legal requirements into business guidance
• Collaborate with Canadian leadership and Compliance teams
Requirements:
• Law degree from a recognized institution
• Member in good standing of a Canadian law society
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience
• Strong knowledge of Canadian privacy laws
• Significant experience in commercial contracts
Lead legal strategy and risk management efforts within Lockton Canada's insurance operations.
