As a Content Lawyer (Commercial Law) at Lexis Nexis, you will be part of a team committed to developing online resources for Canadian legal professionals.
Your role encompasses creating high-quality practice-related materials, including notes and checklists, and ensuring their relevancy. Engage with cross-functional teams to meet product development goals, monitor industry trends, and support sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and edit practice notes and legal documents
• Ensure currency and relevancy of all legal materials
• Monitor legal trends in commercial law
• Manage relationships with law firms across Canada
• Support marketing and sales through product demonstrations
Requirements:
• J.D./LL.B. and an active bar member in Canada
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Law
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience in In-House Counsel position is a plus
• Familiarity with AI and LLM tools in legal workflows
