Supply Chain Planner
Location:
Onsite – 1960 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1L 4R1, Canada
Job Type: Full Time
Responsibilities- Monitors client orders from receipt to shipment; follows up with internal teams to ensure performance to On Time & In Full Deliveries (OTIF).
- Acts as voice of the customer at the site, highlighting delivery risks, escalations, and stock outs.
- Participates in site operational meetings and chairs or attends client communication calls.
- Facilitates customer order revisions and cancellations, and liability recoveries.
- Coordinates customer order releases and shipments from the plant.
- Mitigates outstanding issues affecting production or release of product with the client.
- Monitors and reports weekly and monthly OTIF performance and client metrics.
- Balances and adjusts production plan as appropriate to enhance on‑time delivery and production efficiencies, focusing on resolution of client conflicts on shared constrained equipment.
- Receives Purchase Orders (POs) from customers, confirms completeness, and communicates confirmation information to the client.
- Coordinates with support teams for document readiness, material availability, and release.
- Creates and maintains planning‑related master data, i.e. Engineering Masters.
- Reviews bulk and semi‑finished materials before accepting and planning new orders.
- Reviews various reports, including Expiry & Inventory reports, to minimize excess and obsolescence.
- College/Technical School diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related business field required.
- BSc in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar business field preferred.
- Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM/APICS) CPIM/CSCP or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of previous client‑related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
- Strong client‑service orientation and business perspective skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Ability to create metrics for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to analyze complex problems quickly and propose solutions.
- Ability to balance and handle changing priorities.
- Works autonomously under general direction to meet project and team objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel).
- Proficiency with the English language.
Expected base salary range: $80,000 – $85,000. Additional compensation may include bonus eligibility, equity, benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off.
