Position: Operations Buyer for Supply Chain
Enhance operations as an Operations Buyer, focusing on materials management and procurement processes. Collaboratively drive supplier performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.
In this operational role, you will oversee the flow of materials, ensuring that all incoming supplies meet departmental and corporate goals. Your responsibilities will include managing reports, expediting materials, and working closely with procurement teams. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure their accountability in delivery, pricing, and performance metrics while also improving procedural efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage material supply chain from purchase request to receipt

• Track materials to ensure compliance with requirements

• Expedite deliveries and resolve supplier issues

• Maintain contracts and blanket orders for stability

• Collaborate with various departments to achieve objectives
Requirements:

• 5+ years in purchasing or supply chain management

• Post-secondary education preferred in a relevant field

• Proficient in Excel and experience with ERP systems

• Negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively

• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration
