Manager Supply Planning
Job Overview
Mejuri is hiring a Manager, Supply Planning to help shape and transform the function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to build the frameworks, processes, and team culture that will define how supply planning operates at Mejuri — translating open‑to‑buy into purchase orders, holding a global supplier base accountable on MOQs, lead times, and capacity, and driving the performance standards that keep product flowing efficiently across every channel.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Supply Planning, you’ll sit at the centre of a cross‑functional network — working daily with Demand Planning, Logistics, Merchandising, and the broader Supply Planning team to make sure the right product flows through the network efficiently, and that supply risk never catches the business off guard.
What you’ll doLead and develop the team
- Manage, coach, and develop two Senior Supply Planners — setting a high bar for analytical rigour, communication, and execution.
- Build team processes, ways of working, and planning frameworks largely from scratch; this is a function being established, not inherited.
- Serve as Supply Planning's voice in the monthly S&OP — owning receipt projections, inbound pipeline, and lead time visibility.
Supply execution & purchasing
- Translate OTB into purchase orders — ensuring timely, accurate PO placement and efficient product flow through the network.
- Manage supplier constraints including MOQs, lead times, and capacity across a multi‑country supply base.
- Proactively identify supply risks and drive contingency planning; lead prioritization and reallocation when constraints arise.
Inventory & OTB management
- Develop and execute strategies to hit supply chain targets: service level, product availability, weeks of stock, inventory turns, and E&O.
- Reduce excess and obsolete inventory through proactive planning and corrective action.
Vendor management
- Own supplier performance — delivery adherence, lead time management, responsiveness, and OTIF tracking across a global vendor base.
- Lead monthly supplier reviews covering service level, forecast liability, and OTIF; escalated shortages and delays as needed.
- Evaluate supplier performance and build the frameworks to mitigate risk and drive accountability.
Analytics & reporting
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on supply planning KPIs — with clear insights and corrective actions for senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex supply data into executive‑ready communication; you make the numbers legible for non‑technical partners.
- Proven people leadership experience — you've managed planners, built team culture, and know how to develop talent.
- Deep supply planning expertise with a strong track record across Ecommerce and Retail channels.
- Multi‑country supply experience — you're comfortable sourcing from and managing suppliers across multiple geographies simultaneously.
- Hands‑on knowledge of size buy planning — jewelry, apparel, or a comparable product category.
- Strong vendor management instincts: supplier performance, lead time accountability, MOQ negotiation, and risk escalation.
- Analytically sharp — you translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and present them with executive polish.
- Confident cross‑functional collaborator; you can simplify supply complexity for Merchandising, Finance, and leadership audiences.
- A self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments — you're energized by building, not just maintaining.
- We’re building an AI‑fluent organization. We welcome candidates at all stages of their AI journey — what matters is curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an openness to working alongside AI tools as part of how we do our best work.
- A minimum of four weeks vacation, plus personal days and three religious/cultural observance days.
- A hybrid work model for all corporate roles.
- ‘Mejuri Passport’ which allows employees who meet specific criteria to work in other locations for one month per year.
- Comprehensive medical and dental benefits, including mental health coverage, and generous personal and sick days for our full‑time employees. We also offer bereavement leave, including miscarriage and stillbirth support.
- Parental leave salary top‑up of up to 80%, as well as a personalized return‑to‑work transition and accommodation plan for full‑time employees.
- A generous product discount.
