Program Highlights- 18-Month Rotational Journey: Gain hands‑on experience across key operations and supply chain functions including production, materials management, logistics, procurement, and demand planning.
- Operational Excellence: Learn to apply lean principles and process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver value to customers.
- Supply Chain Innovation: Contribute to building a resilient, digitally enabled supply chain that supports Armstrong’s global growth.
- Learning & Mentorship: Develop technical, analytical, and leadership skills through structured training and personalized mentorship.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Education: A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. Candidates with a dual background in Engineering and Business/Operations Management are encouraged to apply.
- Early Exposure to Operations or Supply Chain: Internship, co‑op, or academic project experience in areas such as production planning, process improvement, logistics, procurement, or quality management is highly valued.
- Process & Analytical
Skills:
Strong problem‑solving ability with exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or process mapping through coursework or projects; able to analyze data and identify efficiency opportunities. - Digital & Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), data visualization tools, or simulation software is an asset. - Communication
Skills:
Clear and confident written and verbal communication; able to document processes, share findings, and work effectively with cross‑functional teams. - Team Orientation: Demonstrated ability to collaborate in group projects, labs, internships, or student organizations where teamwork was critical to success.
