DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a W&T Analyst (Canada), located in Markham, Ontario, Canada
The W&T Analyst (Canada) supports the Deliver pillar of the Supply Chain organization by providing analytical, operational, and coordination support across warehousing and transportation activities. This role helps ensure product is delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with internal standards and external regulations. The analyst partners closely with logistics, customer service, and planning teams to identify issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enable reliable service to customers across Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Support day‑to‑day warehouse and transportation (W&T) operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution activities.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics (e.g., service levels, delivery performance, inventory movements) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with coordination between third‑party logistics providers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery or service issues.
- Prepare routine reports and dashboards to support supply chain decision‑making and performance reviews.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and contributing to corrective actions.
- Ensure activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects related to logistics optimization, cost control, and service enhancement.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional coursework in supply chain or operations is preferred.
Required Experience and Skills
- 0‑2 years of relevant work experience, consistent with an entry to developing analyst‑level role.
- Foundational knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or distribution processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare clear reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures.
- Experience supporting warehouse, transportation, or distribution operations.
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems.
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
- Experience working with third‑party logistics providers.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Language:
English required;
French proficiency is an asset for Canada. - Travel:
Limited, primarily domestic (up to ~10%). - Certifications:
Supply chain or logistics certifications (e.g., APICS/ASCM) are preferred but not required.
