The Inventory Management Specialist will work closely with teams to ensure the accuracy of stock levels, manage backorders, and utilize ERP systems to enhance warehouse efficiency. You will play a key role in assessing product urgency and maintaining alignment with operational goals while ensuring customer satisfaction through timely updates and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure FEFO compliance and conduct audits regularly
• Resolve inventory discrepancies through detailed analysis
• Allocate resources effectively and monitor backorder fulfillment
• Provide updates on product availability to sales staff
• Support inter-warehouse stock transfers as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related area
• Warehouse experience preferred, especially in food distribution
• Proficient in ERP systems, such as Quickbooks
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Capacity to lift 60 lbs as required
