About the Role
We are looking for a Supply Planning Analyst to own critical parts of our production and procurement processes.
Location:
15 Fraser Avenue, Toronto Headquarters.
Contract ends on June 30th, 2027.
Pay RangeThe anticipated base salary for this position is between $60,000 and $65,000. The exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
Responsibilities- Determine the quantity and timing of material purchases and issue purchase orders to ensure timely delivery in alignment with sales forecasts.
- Ensure availability issues do not hinder production by maintaining a continuous supply of materials.
- Achieve maximum availability of materials at optimum inventory levels for both internal production and Third-Party Manufacture (TPM) operations.
- Regularly review and assess supply parameters, replenishment parameters, and safety stock levels for all materials.
- Optimize inventory movement by developing strategies to improve supply flow and inventory turn, while proactively removing aged or non-productive inventory.
- Work closely with the Sourcing team to ensure that existing and potential new suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet production demand.
- Manage inventory and order reviews and oversee the replenishment process directly with suppliers.
- Act as an ambassador for Supply Chain by leading by example and fostering highly productive collaboration with external partners.
- Monitor and resolve issues with suppliers as necessary, specifically regarding out-of-stock items, urgent needs, or overages.
- Drive timely decision‑making and milestone delivery through strong relationships with cross‑functional teams including Production Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, Sourcing, Regulatory, Design, R&D, and QA.
- Post‑secondary education in SCM, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in the Supply Planning field is required; preferred in a manufacturing environment.
- Certifications in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management, such as APICS CSCP and CPIM, are preferred.
- Exceptionally strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel. Advanced Access and/or SQL knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP Procurement, Production Planning and Materials Management modules is considered an asset.
