Lead purchasing for the Spices & Vegetables category at Griffith Foods in Scarborough, ON. This hybrid role involves strategic sourcing and supplier management to enhance supply continuity and market competitiveness.

Griffith Foods seeks a Director of Purchasing to drive strategic sourcing and lead a team in Spices & Vegetables for North America. You will focus on supplier relationship management and implementing category strategies that align with business objectives, while supporting risk management and cost optimization. Collaborate closely with the Canada Leadership Team to ensure business growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Spices & Vegetables

• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and negotiate contracts

• Implement risk mitigation strategies for supply availability

• Monitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly

• Lead supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

• 10+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience

• Proven track record in category strategy development

• Willingness to work onsite 2-3 days per week
