Position: Procurement Assistant for North York Agency
Be part of a vital team as a Procurement Assistant for a provincial government agency in North York. This temporary role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills, working 100% onsite.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role offers a backfill position ideal for candidates experienced in business operations or public sector procurement. Your expertise will facilitate the procurement process by responding to inquiries, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records. Ensure compliance while managing competing responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to routine external inquiries with team consultation

• Assist in identifying and resolving procurement issues

• Contact suppliers for quotations and pricing

• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions

• Maintain organized procurement files and documentation

Requirements:

• Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in relevant field

• 2+ years' experience in procurement or business operations

• Proficiency in MS Office and strong data entry skills

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and ERP applications

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
