Take on an essential planning role with Sika Canada as a Logistics Planner. This position focuses on scheduling shipments and maintaining operational accuracy in a dynamic environment.
As a Logistics Planner, you will work under the supervision of the Logistics Coordinator. Your responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, coordinating with multiple departments, and managing inventory to ensure timely shipping. Strong communication and multitasking skills are vital in this fast-paced role, where attention to detail is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule delivery appointments for shipments
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments effectively
• Input freight costs into SAP for accuracy
• Communicate directly with drivers regarding pick-ups
• Create and send daily Dispatch Reports to teams
Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education preferred
• Experience with SAP and EDI systems is an asset
• Proficient in MS Office suite and quick to learn new software
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexible with availability to work extended hours as needed
