Forecasting, planning, and correctly assessing needs for goods and services to project stock levels, managing budgets and preparing reports
Liaising with suppliers and following up with suppliers concerning delivery times
Networking and negotiating with suppliers to ensure price adjustments and access to best costs. Research new suppliers
Management of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process including review of tenders
Follow market trends
Must Have
Skills:
- years of procurement sourcing experience, not purchasing experience (No flexibility for less)
Previous technology sourcing ( years minimum experience)
Leads negotiations for complex deals with a total contract value $Million or more
Contract authoring and editing
Experience in leading and supporting cross functional stakeholder interactions/relationships
Post-secondary education in Finance, Related
Purchasing field or Procurement Designation
Nice to have skills:
Nice to have: proven experience sourcing and negotiating deals with AI providers
Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations
Business and Financial Acumen
Strong Negotiation skills
Strong contract acumen
Strong analytical skills
Achieving financial targets (individual targets of $MM savings, and team targets of $MM)
