Location:
Toronto, ON (50% Remote / 2 Days Onsite per Week)
Contract Duration:
August/September 2026 – July 2027 (12 Months)
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Pay Rate: C $48.00/hr – C $56/hr (T4/INC) Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor contracts with equipment suppliers and vendors throughout project execution.
- Ensure supplier compliance with contractual requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track vendor commitments, documentation, and project deliverables.
- Support equipment installation activities and pre-operational visits (VPO).
- Maintain contract records, documentation, correspondence, and change logs.
- Review and manage contract changes, variations, and scope adjustments.
- Monitor contractual issues, risks, delays, and non-conformances.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve supplier-related issues.
- Support claims management, notices, and contractual communications.
- Manage rechargeback/cost recovery activities related to supplier responsibilities.
- Prepare contract status reports and maintain accurate tracking documentation.
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration within industrial projects.
- Experience managing contracts involving equipment suppliers, vendors, or OEMs.
- Strong understanding of contract compliance, deliverable tracking, and supplier obligations.
- Experience supporting industrial installation, commissioning, or construction projects.
- Experience with contract changes, change orders, and scope management.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with engineering, procurement, construction, and supplier teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with in industries such as:
- Mining
- Metals/Aluminum
- Manufacturing
- Energy & Utilities
- Heavy Industrial Construction
- EPC Projects
- Experience with:
- Equipment suppliers
- Vendor inspections
- Pre-commissioning activities (VPO)
- Non-conformance management
- Cost recovery/rechargeback processes
Must Have:
- MS Excel (contract tracking, reporting)
- Contract documentation management
- Vendor/supplier management experience
Nice to Have:
- Share Point
- SAP / ERP systems
- MS Project
- Primavera P6
- Contract lifecycle management tools
