Position Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for monitoring inventory position and supply performance across the Canadian business, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks, and ensuring alignment between commercial demand and supply availability. The role acts as a key liaison between local and global stakeholders, including Commercial, Customer Service, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Logistics, and Global Planning teams, to maintain optimal inventory levels, service performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Manage creation and maintenance of supply chain master data across various platforms, ensuring data integrity, governance, and alignment with business processes and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory and projected out-of-stock reports to monitor inventory positions and support business decision‑making.
  • Coordinate inventory-related activities with QA and Finance, including receipts, returns, destructions, and invoice reconciliations.
  • Identify and communicate supply risks and drive mitigation plans to maintain product availability.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics activities with external manufacturers and partners to support uninterrupted product supply, including creation, monitoring, and closing of inbound purchase orders and receipts to ensure accurate inventory transactions and timely execution.
  • Execute month‑end supply chain processes and reporting activities, including provisions, inventory walk‑forward analysis, and related inventory reconciliations.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end work order process, including creation, monitoring, and closure of work orders related to display builds, promotional activities, and product rework initiatives, and ensure accurate inventory transactions and compliance with established supply chain processes.
  • Assist with 24‑month rolling demand forecast process to support inventory and service level objectives across the business units.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and cross‑functional stakeholders, including Commercial, Finance, Marketing, QA, and Regulatory teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, with strong documentation and audit‑ready practices for inventory transactions, master data changes, and month‑end support.
Requirements
  • 3‑5 years’ experience in Supply Chain. Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry preferred. Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. Master’s degree or certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, demand planning, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (Anaplan, Power BI, Oracle ERP or similar systems).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel techniques and statistical analysis; experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, IF statements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while adapting to shifting demands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and continuously driven to improve both processes and personal professional development.

This role is based at Galderma Downtown Toronto office (161 Bay St.) with at least three days working on site and has an annual base salary of 72,000 - 77,000 CAD.
