The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $66,099 – $87,578.26. Individual pay within this range is determined by performance, knowledge, job‑related skills and experience, and education. This role may also receive an annual incentive plan (AIP) with a target bonus of 5% of annual base earnings.

• Understand specific commodities required for production lines and work with suppliers to acquire needed materials in a timely and cost‑efficient manner.
• Dynamically evaluate purchase recommendations and analyze cost and lead time to determine appropriate supplier.
• Make decisions based on supplier performance and changing business needs.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with production and non‑production teams to ensure materials and supplies are provided timely.
• Track purchases, monitor vendor quality, and maintain records of supplier performance.
• Provide recommendations to internal teams regarding next steps to acquire essential commodities.
• Act as the primary point of contact with suppliers, addressing timing and quality issues.
• Work with the Global Sourcing team to identify new suppliers and coordinate purchase process setups.
• Analyze scheduling data and supplier info to track metrics such as expense savings, past dues, dual sourcing, and inventory reductions; report issues to leadership.
• Develop and implement plans to reduce inventory levels while meeting production demands.
• Participate in A3 problem‑solving activities as needed.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact material availability or cost, proactively recommending changes to procurement strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2‑3+ years of experience in purchasing or related role in manufacturing.
• Understanding of procurement processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain principles such as inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Negotiation skills and ability to pursue beneficial outcomes with suppliers.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Organizational and multitasking skills to coordinate and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work independently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in activity completion.
• Analytical skills to understand information and make data‑driven decisions.
• Experience with supplier‑management platforms and data‑analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel advanced, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• SCMA or APICS certification preferred.

Normal or frequent minor physical effort. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 20 lb.
