Co-Op Strategic Sourcing Assistant Position

Become a Strategic Sourcing Assistant at S&C Electric Canada, working in a hybrid setting. You'll be immersed in procurement processes and developing supplier relationships.

This 8-month co-op position, scheduled from September 2026 to April 2027, is targeted at students studying Supply Chain Management or a similar field. You'll assist with contract negotiations, communicate market insights to stakeholders, and help maintain supplier performance metrics.

This role offers a dynamic, safety-focused environment to apply your academic learnings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and build relationships with suppliers

• Understand and communicate market trends effectively

• Support contract negotiation and compliance efforts

• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier portfolios

• Monitor KPIs for key suppliers and ensure contract commitments

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related field

• Enrolled for an 8-month co-op term beginning September 2026

• General understanding of sourcing and supplier management

• High level of organization and initiative

• Previous experience in a supply chain context preferred
