  • Lead Blue Rock Therapeutics' end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations for research, process development, clinical manufacturing, and clinical trial execution
  • Establish and lead integrated planning, strategic sourcing, procurement, materials management, inventory control, and distribution capabilities
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Technical Operations, MSAT, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and external suppliers
  • Oversee procurement, planning, and materials management teams
  • Develop integrated supply planning aligned with demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory, sourcing strategies, CMC development plans, and clinical requirements
  • Implement supply chain standards, metrics, and governance
  • Lead capacity planning and scenario modeling for prioritization, resource allocation, and decision-making
  • Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials, consumables, testing services, and outsourced manufacturing
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships and mitigate supply and quality risks
  • Support supplier qualification, performance management, quality agreements, audits, and inspection readiness
  • Ensure compliant movement of clinical materials, drug product, patient-specific therapies, and development samples
  • Oversee logistics, import/export activities, permits, chain-of-identity, chain-of-custody, and clinical documentation
  • Develop cold-chain and controlled-temperature distribution strategies
  • Ensure labeling, packaging, and distribution controls for clinical investigational products
  • Lead GMP materials management, inventory control, warehousing, replenishment, master data governance, and transactional compliance
  • Serve as business lead for ERP, inventory management, sourcing, logistics, and digital transformation systems
  • Establish procedures and quality systems for inventory accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance
  • Build materials-management and supply-chain infrastructure for Greater Toronto Area operations under design and construction
  • Lead and develop supply chain planners, buyers, and materials management professionals
  • Foster operational excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with GMP regulations, Blue Rock policies, and global regulatory requirements
  • Maintain inspection-ready operations and support audits, inspections, and quality investigations
  • Monitor and report KPIs to drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • BS/MS or PhD in a business or scientific field with ≥12+ years of experience in operations, procurement, or supply chain, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant supply chain management and/or project leadership experience
  • Direct experience with shipments requiring critical/ultra-cold chain constraints, materials, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution
  • General understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain including serialization preferred
  • Experience working in a GxP pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology regulated environment
  • Experience representing the function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and defending GxP systems in audit settings
  • Ability to adapt to changing timelines and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with relevant legal standards and compliance systems
  • Working knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards
  • Demonstrated application of LEAN or Six Sigma preferred
  • Experience working with contract service providers such as offsite warehouses and logistics providers
  • Experience with ERP, LIMS, CMMS, and WMS electronic systems
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently
