At Avery Dennison, the Buyer performs intermediate-level procurement activities supporting Sales, Finance, and Production. This position uses purchasing techniques, supply chain logistics, vendor selection, and ERP/MRP systems to support apparel and athletics operations. The Buyer works under moderate guidance while solving operational challenges through standard operating procedures.

• Manage purchase orders from creation through shipment tracking
• Resolve logistics bottlenecks and maintain accurate purchasing data
• Monitor inventory to prevent shortages and dead stock
• Audit vendor invoices and manage departmental budgets
• Conduct ethical sourcing audits of supplier practices

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
• Four to five years of buying or procurement experience
• Knowledge of purchasing techniques and supply chain logistics
• Experience with vendor selection and ERP/MRP systems
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills
