Job Description
Summary: Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Assistant Superintendent/Cleaner will maintain the cleanliness, order, maintenance and representation of the designated area. The Assistant Superintendent will be on site at all times in order to respond to emergencies and/or tenant concerns/issues. They also provide relief coverage for Superintendent when required.
Salary: $25,000 plus an apartment as a taxable benefit
What you’ll get to do:
Clean entrance and exit of building, laundry room (including wipe down washer/dryer) dailyVacuum/wash floors, elevators, hallways, stairs, windows and common rooms, locker/storage, and garbage rooms as requiredMonitor chutes/compactor of the disposal of garbage and blocks, if applicableEnsure general up keep of building as it must be well-maintained and presentableSweep basement lobby as requiredSpot clean walls, partitions and doors to remove finger marks, graffiti and other marksEnsure all cleaning equipment is maintained and store accordinglyAdditional cleaning duties as required on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and/or assigned by ManagerCommon area maintenance as requiredComplete tenants work orders in a timely mannerCustomer Focus
Provide relief coverage for SuperintendentRespond to all tenant questions, concerns and complaints in a timely mannerKeep detailed records of situations and solutionsRefer to the Property Manager if unable to solve problems and relay all office communications and updates to tenantsCollect and record in log books all incoming rent paymentsServe all legal documentation pertaining to non-payment of rent and/or further Landlord-Tenant litigation as directed by Property Manager.Rent all upcoming suites utilizing and adhering to all Greenwin leasing policies.Perform administrative duties as requiredMaintain accurate records with respect to work ordersFocus on customer service and tenant retentionAdditional duties depending on Building needs and as required by ManagerWho you are:
Two years’ experience in cleaningExcellent Communication skillsResponsible, reliable, and detail-orientedCustomer service skills and detail orientedExcellent housekeeping skillsAbility to work with cleaning fluidsAbility to work and act independentlyAbility to sit/stand for extended period of time (walk, bend, kneel, etc.)
