Are you currently studying maintenance or a similar program and looking to gain experience in the market? We're looking for someone who's eager to learn. The maintenance trainee will participate in the various tasks of the maintenance department's preventive maintenance program.

We have a summer internship opportunity in our hotel located at hotel Le Germain Toronto Mercer for a period varying of 3 to 6 months, starting this May 2026.

• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direct supervision of the maintenance manager.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Move up and down stairs, and/or ladder.
• Other related tasks

• Currently a student in a maintenance, mechanical or similar program
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Very high attention to detail
• Organized, able to work in a team environment and manage various workloads.

The hourly range for this role is between $22.68 and $28.36 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
