Position: Maintenance Supervisor at Gay Lea Foods
Lead the maintenance teams at Gay Lea Foods as a Maintenance Supervisor in North York, ON. Manage equipment repairs and maintenance processes while ensuring safety and compliance every day.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is crucial for maintaining the efficient operation of all plant equipment. You will focus on managing mechanical and electrical systems, overseeing the Maintenance team, and coordinating skilled trades work on a 24/7 basis. In addition, your role includes continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all mechanical and electrical systems in the plant

• Lead scheduling and preventative maintenance for production equipment

• Coordinate work plans with skilled trades on a 24/7 basis

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Train maintenance staff using continuous improvement methods

Requirements:

• Education in mechanical or engineering technology

• Minimum of five years of industry experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with MS Office programs

• Ability to prioritize and schedule effectively
