Position: Full Time Caretaker at Our Lady of Sorrows
Our Lady of Sorrows Parish seeks a dedicated Caretaker & Groundskeeper to ensure a clean and safe environment for the parish community. This modified full-time role focuses on custodial work and minor repairs at the Etobicoke location.

This position requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with potential for increased hours. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in maintenance and custodial services, demonstrating reliability and strong interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for keeping the church and grounds well-maintained and assisting with special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety checks of church facilities

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks

• Coordinate with external maintenance vendors

• Set up and dismantle furniture for events

• Clean and disinfect all areas and restock supplies

Requirements:

• Prior experience in maintenance and custodial services

• Good knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies

• Must be in good physical condition

• Understanding of the Catholic Church's principles

• Criminal background check required
