Building Systems Operator

Position: CBRE Building Systems Operator
Join CBRE as a Building Systems Operator, focusing on the maintenance and operation of building equipment and systems. This role prioritizes safety, service, and continuous improvement.

In this Engineering and Technical Services role, you will manage small to medium facility operations while ensuring high quality and customer service excellence. You'll mentor team members on safety protocols and perform essential maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems. Your expertise will support a clean and safe environment for all building occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas

• Conduct routine inspections of building systems

• Provide training and mentorship to staff

• Ensure timely responses to maintenance issues

• Collaborate with subcontractors for major repairs

Requirements:

• 4th Class Operating Engineer or similar certification

• Minimum 1–3 years in facilities maintenance

• Familiar with CMMS and Building Automation Systems

• Proficient in reading schematics

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
