CAMH Maintenance Generalist Position

Become a Maintenance Generalist at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where you will play a crucial role in building maintenance. This position involves carrying out minor repairs and system cleanliness in a supportive environment.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Facility Manager and tackle various maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and cleaning duties. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation of vital systems within the facility and a safe space for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair sinks, toilets, and drains as needed

• Replace broken ceiling tiles and light bulbs

• Conduct routine cleaning of boilers and chillers

• Change filters in air handling and related units

• Execute water tests per safety procedures

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Fire alarm system certification

• Basic skills in electrical and plumbing maintenance

• Strong attention to detail in all tasks

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
