Service Worker at University

Contribute to cleanliness and maintenance at the University of Toronto Scarborough. This position focuses on cleaning, restoring, and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the campus facilities.

As a Service Worker, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining a welcoming environment. The position includes responsibilities like cleaning washrooms, dusting furniture, and using specialized equipment for floor care. Your ability to perform these tasks effectively will ensure a safe and pleasant space for students and faculty alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and dust furniture, floors, and hallways

• Maintain washroom hygiene and replenish supplies

• Remove garbage and litter from campus areas

• Operate cleaning equipment for floor care

• Assist with special event setups when needed

Requirements:

• Completion of tenth grade or equivalent experience

• One year of related work experience is desirable

• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

• Effective communication skills in English
