Toronto Maintenance Technician

Position: Toronto Maintenance Technician Needed
Realstar is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Toronto/North York to uphold high standards of property maintenance. This position is pivotal in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of residents through efficient management of facilities.

As a key member of Realstar, you will ensure that all maintenance systems, from HVAC to plumbing, are operational. This role requires proactive engagement with residents and oversight of maintenance tasks. You will work four weekdays and alternate weekends, focusing on completing repairs and responding to service requests swiftly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on residential systems

• Handle resident service requests promptly

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

• Oversee grounds maintenance including landscaping

• Conduct inspections of vacant units and common areas

Requirements:

• Background in property management or similar skills

• Strong communication abilities with residents and peers

• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices

• Capability to lift and manage heavy equipment

• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
