Position: Groundskeeper/Caretaker Position Available
Join Our Lady of Sorrows Parish as a Caretaker & Groundskeeper, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for parishioners. This modified full-time role (20 hours/week) involves various custodial duties and minor repairs in Etobicoke.

Working on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, this position demands good interpersonal skills and prior experience in maintenance. You will maintain the church premises, performing tasks from cleaning to coordinating vendors, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect church and grounds for safety hazards

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards

• Manage minor repairs and coordinate maintenance

• Prepare setup for special events and seasonal liturgies

• Water plants and manage grounds upkeep

Requirements:

• Experience in custodial and maintenance services

• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment

• Physically fit to handle manual tasks

• Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations

• Must have legal entitlement to work in Canada
