Position: Cleaner Role at Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre
Play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness at the Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre hostel. The Hostel Cleaner is vital for daily upkeep and meeting health regulations in a supportive setting.

In this unionized role, you will report to either the Manager of Shelter Operations or the Drop-In Supervisor. Your key tasks include cleaning, monitoring supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with the shelter team to provide a welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough daily cleaning of facilities

• Complete scheduled weekly and monthly cleaning tasks

• Report maintenance issues to management immediately

• Order and manage cleaning supplies efficiently

• Maintain health and safety compliance at all times

Requirements:

• Respect for individuals facing marginalization

• Experience in cleaning and maintenance roles

• Familiarity with W.H.M.I.S. standards

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift and work outdoors effectively
