Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician at AgeCare

Age Care is seeking a Maintenance Technician dedicated to maintaining community spaces in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include routine repairs, grounds maintenance, and effective communication with team members to promote a healthy living environment. The role requires flexibility and collaboration with various departments, all while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain the facility's interior and exterior

• Coordinate routine ground maintenance and landscaping

• Schedule sub-contract inspections as needed

• Perform minor repairs on plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems

• Complete maintenance checklists accurately and timely

Requirements:

• General knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems

• Effective communication skills in English

• Experience in general maintenance and supervisory roles beneficial

• Prior exposure to boiler and furnace systems advantageous
