Position: Housekeeper Role at North York YMCA
Become part of the North York YMCA team as a Cleaner Housekeeper. Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment through thorough cleaning practices and customer service excellence.

This hourly contract position requires 22.5 hours of work per week for six months. Ideal candidates will have prior cleaning experience and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. You'll be responsible for light and general cleaning, laundry tasks, and ensuring facilities adhere to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light and heavy cleaning across all facilities

• Maintain cleanliness of washrooms and replenish supplies

• Execute laundry duties including towel collection and folding

• Ensure equipment is clean and in good repair

• Provide excellent customer service to all YMCA members

Requirements:

• Proven cleaning experience in a commercial setting

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Physically able to handle demanding work

• WHMIS training an asset

• Commitment to YMCA’s vision and values
