As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will uphold the operational standards of UofT Scarborough facilities. Responsible for inspections, repairs, and maintenance, this position requires hands-on experience with building systems and tools. Your work will ensure a safe and efficient environment for students and staff on campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance on building fixtures and equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair Ving card hardware and accessibility operators

• Conduct visual inspections and report safety concerns

• Manage snow and ice removal, including salting entrances

• Liaise with staff for maintenance requests and project execution

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Three years of relevant maintenance experience

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of safety standards

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions
