Position: Metro Convention Centre Cleaner Role
Support a clean and welcoming environment at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre as a Cleaner. This casual on-call position plays a crucial role in event cleanliness.

As a member of the Cleaning Services team at MTCC, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the venue. Your work will cater to a wide range of events, and excellence in this role is supported by teamwork and strong customer interaction. Ideal candidates are proactive and dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing

• Sanitize washrooms and replenish supplies in public restrooms

• Collect garbage and maintain cleanliness in common areas

• Complete assigned special cleaning tasks as needed

• Use and maintain various cleaning equipment safely

Requirements:

• Capability of lifting weights up to 50 lbs

• Experience in extensive cleaning roles, comfortable with long tasks

• Fluency in English for effective communication

• Pleasant demeanor with a customer service focus

• Collaborate well in a team environment
