Facilities Maintenance Junior Operator

Work as a Junior Building Operator at Canada’s National Ballet School. This role involves operating HVAC systems and performing critical maintenance for a creative learning environment.

Reporting to the Director, Facilities and Operations, you will contribute to maintaining all operational aspects of the school’s facilities. Responsibilities include implementing maintenance programs, conducting routine checks, and assisting with safety compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing preventative maintenance schedules

• Maintain HVAC, fire safety, and other mechanical systems

• Perform routine tests on backup generators

• Ensure all systems meet regulatory standards

• Keep mechanical rooms tidy and organized

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a relevant field

• Knowledge of HVAC and building maintenance

• Understanding of health and safety procedures

• Capability to handle power tools safely

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
