Housekeeping Environmental Attendant Position

Join Humber River Health as an Environmental Attendant. This part-time position requires strong housekeeping skills and flexibility for various shifts.

As an Environmental Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness within Humber River Health's Environmental Services. Successful candidates will have a good command of English and recent housekeeping experience. You will clean, dust, and manage waste while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and isolation rooms

• Vacuum carpets and clean equipment as needed

• Help train and orient new staff members

• Follow all safety and emergency procedures strictly

• Engage in ongoing training and quality control initiatives

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School diploma or higher

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with heavy-duty cleaning equipment

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting

• Collaborative approach to teamwork and flexibility
