Position: Custodian for Covenant House Operations

Covenant House is seeking two dedicated full-time Custodians for a Monday to Friday schedule. Key responsibilities include cleaning washrooms, offices, and common areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. The role requires knowledge of housekeeping techniques and the ability to lift and move items safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, offices, and common areas

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and laundry facilities

• Dust, mop, and empty garbage across multiple zones

• Follow COVID regulations regarding hygiene and cleanliness

• Report repairs and complete daily routine charts

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent communication skills

• Knowledge of cleaning tools and techniques

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and navigate stairs

• Basic computer skills for reporting and communication

• Commitment to a structured weekday schedule
