Position: Full-Time Cleaner for Transit Stations
Be a key player at Dexterra Group as a Full-Time Cleaner ensuring cleanliness at transit stations in York. This dynamic role involves maintenance and customer interaction across five shifts weekly.

As a Full-Time Cleaner with Dexterra Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at public transit stations. With a focus on high standards, you'll engage in cleaning, disinfecting, and ensuring the comfort of transit users. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently are essential in this permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect station areas, including washrooms

• Sweep, mop, and spot clean high-touch surfaces

• Replenish washroom supplies and conduct inspections

• Utilize auto-scrubber and auto-sweeper as needed

• Report cleanliness issues or hazards to supervisors

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks

• Minimum 6 months of cleaning/janitorial experience

• Effective English communication skills necessary

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as required

• Clear criminal background check mandatory
