YWCA Toronto seeks a Cleaner for its Property Services team. In this part-time, permanent position, you will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for women and gender-diverse individuals. Your work will involve general cleaning tasks, assisting with supplies, and reporting maintenance needs, all while upholding YWCA’s values of equity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floor surfaces thoroughly

• Clean TV lounges, kitchenettes, and communal spaces daily

• Disinfect washrooms and maintain high hygiene standards

• Assist with garbage and recycling removal

• Follow WHMIS and health safety compliance procedures

Requirements:

• High school education preferred

• 1-3 years cleaning experience in related environments

• Knowledge of cleaning products and safety protocols

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
