Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• Complete in-depth training on specific modules to gain full proficiency in the internal training program.
• Deliver onboarding classes for new employees and upskilling courses for existing staff.
• Perform engine and module assembly and disassembly on CFM
  56 engines.
• Carry out turbine engine inspection and certification in line with established procedures.
• Conduct balancing of rotors and modules, including single-plane and dynamic balancing.
• Work collaboratively with team members to build and strip engines and actively suggest improvements to work methods.
• Transport parts, components, modules, and engines safely from one workstation or center to another as required.
• Perform cleaning of parts, including cleaning and blasting operations, when the required work competency is demonstrated.
• Read and understand technical instructions and documentation related to the build and maintenance of CFM
  56 engines.
• Follow all applicable quality, safety, and compliance procedures in daily operations.
• Adapt to shift work, including potential changes in shifts based on operational needs.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience as aircraft mechanic.
• Strong hands-on experience with mechanics, engines, and repair work.
• Ability to communicate clearly when training colleagues and new employees.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a large, well-lit, clean, and organized facility that maintains a comfortable temperature without noticeable odors. The environment is focused on aircraft engine maintenance and assembly, involving handling of parts, modules, and engines, as well as cleaning and blasting operations where required. The role includes the possibility of shift work and shift changes based on operational demands.

Tools and equipment are suited to aircraft engine mechanical work and to delivering hands-on technical training.

Must be willing to relocate to Montreal ful-time

This is a Permanent position based out of Toronto, ON.

The pay range for this position is $52.14 - $52.14/hr.
