Commercial Office Furniture Installer

Key Responsibilities

Working at 500 Consumers Road, North York

Hours 8:00am to 4:00pm

• Deliver and install station names or numbers.
• Setup town halls A or B in these configurations:
  • Boardroom
  • Classroom
  • Group
  • U-shape
  • Theatre
• People moves every Friday from one floor to another or within the same floor.
• Sometimes check desk stations with problems (adjustable tables).
• Fixed chairs or chaise chairs.
• Do moves from 500 Consumers Rd to 101 Honda Blvd.
• Pick up names or numbers from 500 Consumers and install in 101 Honda.
• Warehouse support + inventory
• Servicing Toronto Area
• Hanging glass boards
• Contact end user and communicate requirements
• Reporting to Supervisor
• Entry of information to Maintenance Care
• Furniture Repairs:
  • Desks
  • M.A.
  • Task chairs
  • Anything related to workstations

• Positive attitude, confident, focused and responsible
• Detail oriented
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) in the English language

• Minimum education requirement:
  High school Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a contract furniture installation position
