Parish Housekeeper for Archdiocese

Provide essential cleaning and laundry services as a casual Parish Housekeeper for the Archdiocese of Toronto. This role supports parish rectories across multiple regions, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

The Archdiocese of Toronto seeks Parish Housekeepers in Central, Eastern, Northern, and Western Pastoral Regions. You will develop cleaning schedules and manage laundry for residential needs in the rectory. Flexibility is essential as this position covers employee absences and may require short notice work assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean the parish rectory through various methods

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cleaning schedule

• Provide laundry services for rectory residents

• Prepare supply lists and make authorized purchases

• Order household supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in implementing a cleaning plan

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Flexible schedule to accept assignments on short notice

• Previous parish experience is preferred

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
