Shift Coordinator Environmental Services

Take charge as a Shift Coordinator in environmental services, overseeing daily cleaning activities and supporting staff in a productive work environment. This role ensures quality service through operational oversight and employee guidance.

In this position, you will coordinate daily cleaning operations and monitor team performance. Supporting the Site Supervisor, you'll guide employees, manage task assignments, and ensure the maintenance of safety standards. Your leadership will be vital in promoting teamwork and achieving service levels that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily cleaning activities and staff assignments

• Ensure staffing coverage during shifts and adjust as needed

• Provide training and coaching to cleaning staff

• Conduct routine inspections of completed cleaning work

• Report quality concerns to the Site Supervisor

Requirements:

• Experience in janitorial or custodial services

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals

• WHMIS certification is preferred
