Healthcare Environmental Services Partner

Join our team as an Environmental Services Partner, ensuring cleanliness within our facilities. This role focuses on mopping, sanitizing areas, and upholding Infection Control standards.

Candidates must have experience in Environmental Services and meet qualifications including a minimum Grade 11 education and successful completion of relevant competency tests. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and personal protective gear is necessary, as is the capacity to perform physical tasks independently while adhering to safety protocols. Your efforts will contribute significantly to maintaining a hygienic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mop, vacuum, and spot clean various flooring types

• Conduct terminal cleaning for safe new admissions

• Sanitize isolation rooms following established protocols

• Dispose of garbage and restock washroom supplies

• Complete other cleaning tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Must have prior Environmental Services experience

• At least Grade 11 education or equivalent

• Passed Environmental Services Core Competency test with 70%+

• Required to complete WHMIS training

• Capable of lifting 20-30 pounds and using specialized equipment
