Facility Maintenance Technician

Position: Full-Time Facility Maintenance Technician
Support Variety - the Children's Charity's mission as a Facility Maintenance Technician in Scarborough, Ontario. This full-time position entails direct involvement in facility maintenance and repair activities.

Your expertise will help ensure the facility operates smoothly and safely for all members. Responsibilities include conducting diligent inspections, performing routine repairs, and collaborating with the Building Services Manager to address operational needs and maintain cleanliness with third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect facilities regularly for safety and maintenance needs

• Execute general repairs on equipment and fixtures

• Track and manage maintenance requests efficiently

• Collaborate with janitorial services for cleanliness

• Ensure exterior safety during adverse weather conditions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• Minimum of two years in facility or building maintenance

• Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC and plumbing

• Proactive problem-solving abilities

• Strong organizational and customer service skills
