The Residential Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining private homes, condominiums, apartments, and short-term rental properties according to employer’s service standards and cleaning checklists. The successful candidate must be reliable, professional, respectful of clients’ homes, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, baseboards, windowsills, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, stairs, and upholstered surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, sinks, countertops, and appliances.
• Make beds and replace linens when required.
• Empty garbage and recycling containers.
• Restock household or guest supplies when requested.
• Complete deep‑cleaning and move‑in/move‑out assignments as scheduled.
• Follow company cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and property‑specific instructions.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report damages, maintenance concerns, missing supplies, or safety hazards.
• Protect clients’ privacy, property, keys, and access information.
• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members.

• Competitive compensation starting at $25 per hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional residential cleaning experience or relevant cleaning and housekeeping training.
• Experience cleaning private homes, condominiums, apartments, or Airbnb properties is an asset.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow cleaning checklists and client instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and effectively as part of a team.
• Good time-management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25 kg.
• Strong spoken English skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
• Ability to travel between client locations.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be willing to complete a criminal background check.
