UHN is hiring multiple Environmental Services Aides for part-time positions across its facilities, including Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals. This role involves a flexible schedule, with a focus on routine cleaning duties to ensure a safe and hygienic hospital environment. Applicants must be willing to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute routine cleaning tasks in all hospital areas

• Handle biomedical and cytotoxic waste appropriately

• Operate cleaning equipment as per training

• Participate in safety meetings and further education

• Use mandatory PPE and maintain safe practices

Requirements:

• High school completion or equivalent

• Relevant cleaning experience is preferred

• Capability to lift weights up to 20 kg

• Fluency in English for reading and understanding work orders

• Ability to perform duties with professionalism and quality
