Summary
The Maintenance Team Lead oversees a team of Technicians in delivering preventative and corrective maintenance, routine, and on-demand services for assigned facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring work adheres to established processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements, while also performing maintenance tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Technicians, assign and monitor work, and review performance.
- Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Perform and oversee maintenance and inspections of facility systems.
- Coordinate work orders, troubleshoot issues, and respond to service requests.
- Maintain records, manage operational contracts, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
- Participate in projects, manage tools and expenditures, and support safety and operational meetings.
- Work shifts, be on-call, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Work Requirements
- Availability to work shifts, be on-call, and respond to emergencies.
- Willingness to wear PPE.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of facility operations and maintenance experience.
- High school diploma with trades training and certification.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of facility systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and building codes.
- Strong safety mindset and client service orientation.
- Effective communication skills.
Licenses & Certifications
- Journeyman Electrical License.
- Building Operator Certification.
- Systems Maintenance Administration Certification is a plus.
